Colio Estate WinesFrom its humble beginnings in 1980, Colio has brought attention and respect to the bountiful VQA region of the " Lake Erie North Shore ". The 200 acres of vineyards in Colchester are expertly tended by Vineyard Manager Kevin Donohue, grapes from which are crafted into critically acclaimed wines by Winemaker Tim Reilly. The showpiece winery, located in Harrow produces 240,000 cases annually of award-winning wines including VQA, table, sparkling, late harvest and Icewines which are shipped around the globe. Tours are conducted daily at 1, 2 & 3PM year-round through their modern facilities and expansive, temperature-controlled barrel cellar and culminate in a wine tasting in their stunning hospitality centre. Special events highlight the winery and the region’s uniqueness and within a short drive there are other fine wineries, restaurants and accommodations to make the day complete if one chooses to stay longer.
