Festival Epicure History

Festival Epicure was conceived in 1995 as a way to showcase Windsor's City Center, local restaurants, regional wines and musicians. From its humble beginnings with an attendance of 300 people, Festival Epicure has become Windsor's most anticipated summer event with over 20,000 attending in 2009. Festival Epicure 2011 will be held at the Riverfront Festival Plaza on the Detroit River across from Caesar's Windsor July 8th - 10th. With its eclectic mix of R&B, Jazz, Swing, and Pop and food for every taste, Festival Epicure appeals to the whole family. A special thanks to our corporate sponsors, vendors, and the good people of the Windsor-Detroit area for helping us raise over $230,000 for local charities over the last 10 years. Ken Brandes |
